Why have conversations...
Conversations allow us to empathize with others. Empathy fuels connection.
Conversations help us to connect with people and process our own experiences. This connection leads to healing; healing of ourselves, healing of others, and also healing of relationships. Lack of connection and conversation drives us apart into isolation which fuels negative feelings and beliefs about ourselves. Even though we have difficult experiences and emotions on a daily basis we rarely talk to each other about what it is that we are going through. Many of us keep these thoughts, feelings, and experiences to ourselves and never talk about them to anyone. If we were to have these conversations, we would find that most people also have similar experiences, thoughts, feelings, and fears themselves. There are times when all you need is someone to be there for you, to hear you, to offer support, and to be witness without judgment. This is what we are hoping to provide through our podcast. The opportunity for communication and shared connection.
